One scanner across the whole project

Efficiency and precision shouldn’t be an either-or choice. Move through large sites in Mobile Mode for complete coverage, then switch to Terrestrial Mode where local accuracy matters most. At just 1.65 kg, the main unit is easy to carry and reconfigure as the job changes. So one scanner now covers the whole project, from broad site capture to fixed-position precision.

Key Features

Two scanners in one, ready when you are. Mobile coverage and terrestrial precision — RTK, LiDAR and 360° cameras in a single 1.65 kg unit.

FJD Trion V4E LiDar Range Scanning

Scanning range up to 120 m

0.5–120 m range with a 360° × 270° field of view covers broad, complex sites in a single pass.

V4E LiDAR GPS accuracy

≤1 cm relative accuracy

Mobile SLAM holds ≤1 cm relative accuracy across the site; on a tripod, Terrestrial Mode reaches 4 mm at 10 m and 8 mm at 30 m.

High-Speed Data Capture V4e LiDAR Scanner

640,000 points per second

Dense, fast capture over a 120 m range and a 360° × 270° field of view.

Built-in RTK

GPS / BDS / GLONASS / Galileo / QZSS with RTK and PPK, so every scan lands in real-world coordinates.

360° true-colour imaging

Three 48 MP cameras deliver 360° panoramas and richly coloured point clouds that bring the site to life in 3D.

Air-to-ground coverage

Handheld, vehicle-mounted or airborne — combine capture methods to extend coverage across roads, infrastructure and forests.

WHY PROFESSIONALS CHOOSE THE FJD T1

One scanner for the whole project, without the compromise.

The hard part isn’t capturing a site — it’s getting both broad coverage and millimetre detail without carrying two systems.

Coverage vs. accuracy shouldn't be a trade-off

Problem: Fast mobile scanning covers ground quickly but can fall short where tight tolerances matter. Committing to one method means compromising somewhere.

With the T1: Cover the whole site in Mobile Mode, then place the unit on a tripod for Terrestrial Mode where accuracy is critical.

One device instead of a kit

Problem: Carrying a separate mobile scanner, terrestrial scanner and GNSS receiver means slow setup, more to transport and datasets that don’t line up later.

With the T1: RTK, LiDAR and three 48 MP cameras in a single 1.65 kg unit — minimal setup, one dataset, quick reconfiguration on site.

Large sites, no manual stitching

Problem: Big or staged projects mean returning to site and manually stitching point clouds from different sessions.

With the T1: Scan continuously for up to 1 hour, then pause and pick up later — match a previously scanned area and the software combines the data automatically, no manual stitching.

HOW IT WORKS?

From site-wide capture to final deliverable in four steps.

One workflow that moves from mobile coverage to terrestrial detail to a single point cloud.

1. Cover (Mobile Mode)

Move through the site handheld, vehicle-mounted or airborne. Review the colourised point cloud live in 2D or 3D to catch coverage gaps before you leave.

1. Refine (Terrestrial Mode)

Place the T1 on a tripod in critical areas for stable, fixed-position capture. Multi-sensor SLAM records how stations relate, so scans align efficiently in post.

3. Process

In FJD Trion Model, process mobile and terrestrial scans separately or fuse them into a single point cloud — with mesh, 3DGS, CAD/BIM and cross-section tools.

4. Deliver

Share, review and collaborate through FJD Trion Model Web cloud access, then export the point cloud and derived deliverables to your team.
